Successful House Removal for Darren in Stoke Newington

Recently Stoke Newington Removals had the pleasure of completing a high-quality and enjoyable moving job for Darren. This project stands as a testament to our dedication, meticulous planning, and expertise in handling large and complex moves. Darren's relocation required extensive forward planning and detailed discussions to ensure everything went smoothly on the day. At the end of the job, he was very complimentary about our friendliness, hard work, and the efficiency with which we completed the job.

Comprehensive Planning and Delivery

Darren's move was not just a typical house removal; it included an additional pickup of some items from storage. Our team, consisting of three vans and four professional movers, devised the best logistical plan for the day, ensuring everything was delivered to his new property in good time. The careful coordination and planning were crucial to the success of this extensive move.

Handling Large and Delicate Items with Expertise

Valuable and breakable items get the right materials every time.

Many items in Darren's move were large and delicate, requiring our moving crew's experience and skill to carry them down three flights of stairs. The items included a 3-seater sofa, a 2-seater sofa, five bookcases, a TV, and multiple lamps and rugs. The TV, being particularly large and valuable, needed extra care and protection during packing and moving. All bookcases were dismantled by our handymen, making them easier to transport. Stoke Newington Moving Company uses specialised equipment and packaging materials whenever necessary, ensuring valuable or breakable items arrive safely at the new location.

Three flights of stairs change how a move is planned. Carrying every piece of furniture and every box down several floors needs extra labour, adds loading time and calls for careful handling, so the crew is sized around the stairs as much as the volume. Heavy pieces are lifted from their solid frame by two or more people, never by legs or handles, and large TVs travel upright on their edge, wrapped in a blanket or foam, because pressure on the panel is what cracks a screen.

Meticulous Packing and Transporting

We moved a large number of kitchen appliances including a dining table with six chairs, a fridge freezer, a washing machine, and a dryer. Our expert packers wrapped up and packed all kitchen crockery and goods with great care and attention. Heavier and larger items were placed into boxes in a sensible manner to avoid crushing other items. From the bedrooms we dismantled two double beds and three double wardrobes. The beds were taken apart, wrapped, and labelled so that their reassembly would be easier when they reached Darren's new home. A very heavy, solid oak sideboard could not be dismantled and had to be carried extremely carefully to and from the van. It is with years of experience that our crew can manoeuvre such a large item downstairs and hallways with ease and without any damage.

Efficient and Careful Packing

Every box is labelled for the room it goes to.

We packed over forty cardboard boxes of Darren’s personal items. Each box was labelled clearly to ensure that the crew could place them into the correct rooms at the new property. We carried each box cautiously and stacked them carefully into the van to avoid any damage or scratches. Our team worked systematically in the loading and unloading of all furniture and boxes, finding the most efficient way to load the van to prevent any delays.

The right boxes make labelling and loading easier. Small boxes, about 18 by 12 by 12 inches, are for heavy things such as books, ornaments, crockery and glassware, and large ones, about 18 by 18 by 20 inches, are for lighter, bulky items like bedding. Books go in flat at the bottom with lighter things on top, and each box is marked with its contents and the room it belongs in, so the crew can carry it straight to the right place at the other end. Boxes, tape and wrapping can all be ordered from our packing shop, and our packing tips go through each room.

Clear Communication and Customer Satisfaction

Good communication with Darren was key right from the start. We kept him up to date and involved at every stage of the removal, from the initial moving consultation to the final delivery. This very open and proactive approach served to ease any concerns and make sure Darren felt supported throughout his move. He appreciated our clear explanations about what we had planned and said that it gave him peace of mind, knowing that his belongings were in good hands. He praised our team for being polite, hardworking, friendly, and extremely helpful on the day. We strive to provide a high level of customer service during every removal as we believe that a hassle-free moving experience can truly make a big difference in people's lives.
