Professional Packing From Start to Finish
The biggest part of this job was the full packing service. The whole flat needed to be packed safely, from furniture and everyday household items to personal belongings that mattered most to Nicola.
Our packing team arrived with all the professional packing materials needed. Fragile items were wrapped, boxed and labelled room by room, and larger furniture was prepared for safe handling. If you prefer to pack yourself, the same boxes and materials are available from our packing shop.
Packing is usually the most time-consuming part of a move. With a trained team doing it methodically, it was finished quickly and kept the whole move on schedule.
The biggest mistake customers make is underestimating how many belongings they have. Cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas often contain far more than expected. A quick video survey allows us to prepare a much more accurate quotation.
Furniture Dismantling and Reassembly
Several large pieces of furniture had to be taken apart before they could leave the flat. Our movers dismantled the beds, wardrobes and other bulky items so they could be carried out safely and secured in the van.
At the new property in Southeast London, the team rebuilt every piece in the right room and checked it was stable and ready to use. This matters most in flat moves, where doorways, staircases and room layouts can be very different between the old home and the new one.
